Eight hours at the musée du Louvre

Hi bloggers,
Yes, I spent all of yesterday at the Louvre.
I saw the museum's entire Italian renaissance collection (so much joy 🥹) , French romantic and academic works, so much Dutch art (loads of Rembrandt and Frans Hals) and some Ancient Egyptian.
Didn't see anything else.
Then, went back to the hotel for dinner and collapsed in bed.

Me and my partner.
He got tired half way and went back. And I stayed, like a pilgrim!

I should say we had a small lunch at Louvre too.

  3. I know the feeling. Too much information jumping out at you, whether museum or art gallery. Lovely large photo of you both.

    1. Haha. Thanks Nick.
I had been waiting to visit the galleries for some time so I was determined.

  5. I would concentrate on one theme per visit eg Dutch 17th century paintings. My mind would still get tired, but after 2 hours, it is very relaxing to have lunch and wine :)

    1. Hello hels.
      That's exactly what I did. 🙂
I carved my time between 2 things and added Dutch stuff afterwards.
I only saw 1/10th of the collection.
      Thanks for posting.
