I recently went through Borough Market on Southwark Street (near London Bridge).
Sourdough, English cheese, wine and cured meats ... hmmmm.
Inspired by another blogger going through her local market, I decided to take some photos and share them on my blog.

Gourmet-style canned fish. £6.80 for canned salmon! |
Organic nut brittle. I don't know how I got the lights to shine like that. |

A lovely day.
What a nice tour of the market. Lots of good food there. Thanks for sharing your wonderful photos. Have a fantastic new week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill :) Hope you have a lovely week too.
DeleteWhat a great collection of market street photography. Fascinating facades, street people and the rich wonderful vibe.
ReplyDeleteThank you dude.
DeleteFruit and vegetables are healthy and tasty, but there is nothing like a market to show off their colourful beauty. Of course it is quicker to buy for dinner at the local supermarket, but this is not as pleasurable.
ReplyDeleteLove the street lamps there and the old building.
ReplyDeleteThe market does look good for buying produce.
Borough Market is wonderful. Thank you for the mention and the link.
ReplyDeleteThe produce is colourful and tempting.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit to my blog :-)
